Middle School Football/Athletic Preseason Workouts
We, the Discovery High School Football Coaching Staff, are excited to announce the beginning of this year’s preseason middle school workouts. These workouts will take place in the football field house weight room, and will be run by the knowledgeable member of our staff. The coaches will be teaching athletes how to properly lift weights and also working on different skill related components that are essential to being successful football players.
Who can come to these workouts?
Any 6th, 7th,or 8th grade student.
Why should I come to these workouts?
To prepare yourself mentally and physically for the upcoming football season.
What will we do during these workouts?
We will work on lifting weights for playing football. We will teach you proper stretching for lifting. We will work on speed training.
When are the workouts?
Each Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 pm for approximately 1 hour.
Where are the workouts?
Discovery High School Field House – located next to the football stadium.
